Eligibility Criteria for SSC MTS 2025
Nationality
Candidates must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee (permanent settlement), or
- A person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries.
Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)
- MTS: 18–25 years
- Havaldar: 18–27 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per government norms (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, etc.)
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th class) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Language Options for SSC MTS 2025
For the first time, the SSC MTS exam will be conducted in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages. Candidates can select their preferred language while filling out the application form.
