  • Prime Minister Modi inaugurated multiple connectivity projects worth 15,400 crore rupees in Kolkata, including the ground-breaking underwater metro rail service.
  • The Howrah Maidan-Esplanade section marks India’s first transportation tunnel beneath a major river, the River Hooghly.
  • The underwater metro line connects Kolkata and Howrah cities on opposite banks of the River Hooghly.
  • Howrah metro station, a part of this new line, is recognized as India’s deepest metro station.

PM Modi Flagged Off “Swarna Sindhu” 1st Tanker Carrying Crude Oil From ONGC

  • PM Narendra Modi flagged off the 1st tanker “Swarna Sindhu” carrying crude oil from the oil and natural gas corporation KG-DWN-98/2 Deepwater project

  • RBI has sanctioned USD 530 million for all stocks scheme of amalgamation of Bengaluru, Karnataka based fin care small finance bank Ltd
  • RBI in exercise of its power under section 45L(1)(b) of the RBI act 1934
