BRO Connects Strategic Nimmu-Padam-Darcha Road in Ladakh
- Border Roads Organisation (BRO) completed the 298-km Nimmu-Padam-Darcha road connecting Manali to Leh via Darcha and Nimmu on the Kargil-Leh Highway.
- This road becomes the third axis, apart from Manali-Leh and Srinagar-Leh, providing crucial connectivity to Ladakh.

- The Modi government has allocated Rs 6212.03 crore to Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) as part of a recapitalization scheme on March
- RRBs, established in 1975 and owned by the Indian government, operate at the regional level across various states, focusing on offering basic banking and financial services to rural areas.
- The objective of RRBs is to serve small and marginal farmers, agricultural labourers, artisans, and small entrepreneurs, aiming to promote financial inclusion and rural development.
- This allocation is aimed at strengthening RRBs, enhancing their capacity to provide essential banking services and support economic activities in rural regions.
SEBI directs AMFI to stop inflows into overseas schemes of MFs from april 1
- The securities and exchange board of india (SEBI) has instructed the association of mutual funds in inida (AMFI) to hold inflows into overseas exchange trade funds (ETFs) from april 1
- This decision comes as the current limit of USD 1 billion, set by the RBI
- SEBI’s January 2022 directive barred MFs from fresh subscriptions in overseas stocks despite recent market downturns, SEBI relaxed restrictions with USD 7 billion industry cap
- 13 international MF schemes manages Rs 7743 crore in passive funds with many others investing in international ETFs
- The current limits were set in 2007—08 and hasn’t revised despite india’s doubled forex reserves
- SEBI mandates valuing overseas investment utilization based on available cost, not current market valuation

- Aditya birla housing finnce limited (ABHFL) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aditya birla capital limited has launched a unified digital lending platform called “ABHFL-finverse” for its home loan customers.
