Note:

• As per G.O (Ms). No.91, Human Resources Management (S) Department, dated 13.09.2021, the Maximum Age Limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment has been enhanced by 2 years.
• “No maximum age limit” shall mean that the applicants should not have completed 60 years of age either on the date of Notification or at the time of selection/appointment to the post.
• For “Others,” applicants who have put in 5 years and more of service in the State / Central Government are not eligible to apply even if they are within the age limit.
• There is no maximum age limit for applicants belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs, and Destitute Widows of all castes who possess a General Educational Qualification higher than the Minimum General Educational Qualification.

Age Concession (for all posts)

(i) For Persons with Benchmark Disability: Persons with Benchmark Disability are eligible for age concession up to 10 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed above.

(ii) For Ex-Servicemen: (a) The maximum age limit is 55 years for the applicants who belong to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, and BCMs. (b) The maximum age limit is 50 years for “Others” (i.e., Applicants not belonging to any of the above-said categories).

Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:- i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or) iii) by Higher/Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil. Note: Selection Procedure for Typist a) Candidates with technical qualification referred to in item (i) will be selected first. b) In case candidates with technical qualification referred to in item (i) are not available, candidates with technical qualification referred to in item (ii) will be selected. c) In case candidates with technical qualification referred to in item (i) and (ii) are not available, candidates with technical qualification referred to in item (iii) will be selected.
STENO-TYPIST (GRADE–III) & STENO-TYPIST (GRADE–III) IN TAMIL NADU URBAN HABITAT DEVELOPMENT BOARD (Post Code: 2300)	I. Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of Studies. II.
