- In The Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC), a subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has launched a new online tool called ‘Daava Soochak’ or Claim Status Tracking. The tool was inaugurated by Dr. Michael D. Patra, Deputy Governor of RBI and Chairman of DICGC.

- Purpose: Allows depositors to track the status of their claims by entering their registered mobile number on the DICGC website.
- Coverage: Tracks claims for banks placed under All Inclusive Directions (AID) from April 1, 2024, onward.
