Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online at www.ssc.gov.in between 6th June and 26th June 2025.
The recruitment process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by a Skill Test. This is a national-level exam conducted every year to recruit stenographers in various central government departments.

Candidates must have passed 12th Standard from a recognized board or university.

Steps to Apply Online for SSC Stenographer 2025
- Visit the official SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in
- Click on “New User/Register Now” for registration.
- Fill in the basic details (Name, DOB, Email ID, Mobile Number, etc.).
- Submit the form to generate your Registration ID.
- Log in using your Registration ID and password.
- Upload a scanned photograph (4–12 KB, 100×120 pixels) and signature (1–12 KB, 40×60 pixels) as per SSC guidelines.
- Complete Part II of the application form.
- Preview the form and click Final Submit.
- Pay the applicable fee and download/print the application form.
